The Key to Quit Smoking
From many of the well known methods on how to quit smoking, I will share with you the biggest discovery that will make you feel powerful enough to start the process of becoming a nonsmoker. This discovery will power you up day after day. You will enjoy the process and finally experience how easy life can be as a nonsmoker. Let’s see an example: If you have ever tried to quit smoking in the past, what event or events caused you to smoke again? Think and observe the details of your brain. 15 minutes after “the last cigarette” you say to yourself, “I can do this.” After 2 hours you say, “I don’t know what’s happening; should I feel something?” After 2 1/2 hours you say, “What will I do now?” “Should I eat something?” “I have to do something, maybe just this one last cigarette.” Or you say, “Maybe I’m not prepared as I should be… Maybe God Himself should come and personally tell me directly in my face that now is the time?” Well maybe you will see Him, and maybe you are the one that is going to visit Him. Rest assured that this is a normal way of thinking. Some people have been “trying to quit” for decades and they are a testament that quitting is hard.Well here is the discovery: It is hard for every smoker quit because they are constantly thinking about smoking. After they “decide” to stop, all sorts of smoking related thoughts arise that they try to overcome, to beat somehow. When they fail, they end up lighting cigarette again. If you want to quit you don’t need a 7 day or 21 day program. You need to start thinking as non-smokers do. Do they think about smoking? NO. All you have to do is not get involved in your personal conversation with yourself. When you notice that your brilliant brain start doing its job (thinking), you, in response, start doing your job and immediately change the focus. Simply change the subject. Thinking like a non-smoker is the only way to become a non-smoker. The other self-help methods do have some helpful tips. However, if you start counting how many years, months, and days and hours you are free from nicotine, I assure you that there will come a time in your life when you will stop counting and start smoking again. The cure is to think and feel like a non-smoker.

Guide for Quitting Smoking Cigarettes
Most smokers are afraid that they can’t quit, that cigarettes are more powerful than they are. Actually this is fear from the fear, because if you are still smoking, how can you know that it’s hard without cigarettes? This is a result from your habit that is controlling you so much that it won’t allow you to imagine how life can look like without smoking. This point brings another question or excuse of yours. I love smoking; I love the ritual, etc. This is partially true, you love the time spent with yourself in that moment. But the cigarette will burn after two minutes, so why light it in the first place? She’ll burn but the pleasure will only last for two minutes. It will last for two minutes and only two minutes. No more. This conditioning will continue until you are brave enough to interrupt this pattern.First thing you have to do is to hate that you’re controlled. How can you be a free human being, when someone or something controls you? This should be the first milestone for you. The rest are simply techniques that will help you substitute the smoking habit. You can’t stop smoking without thinking and trying to implement a non-smoker habit. After you are sure that you understand this, and only after you’re sure, follow these instructions:• If you can hold out without smoking for only one minute, don’t you think that you can do it in the next minute? Sure you can. You should battle the craving by the minute. It is a much shorter time period to fight your battle and win. This makes the war all that much easier.• Your first trigger occurs at a point where the body is conditioned to enjoy a cigarette along with a drink or after a meal, etc. These triggers will last for a maximum of 5 minutes. During these 5 minutes your entire body will convince you that it is okay to light a cigarette, which you have reason and it will come up with so many excuses that it will be hard for you to say no.• Second, as I mentioned in the secret for becoming a non-smoker, you should not involve yourself in your personal fight with the habit. You can’t win your habit in this way, because there will be a period when you’re feeling “down” and that will be a good enough reason for lighting a cigarette.• You should also be aware that you’ll be very confused in the first 3 days and this is normal and you should accept it. This is the period where your brain is forcing you to light a cigarette and attempts to convince you with what may seem “reasonable” excuses. Since you programmed your brain to feel pleasure whenever you light a cigarette, it is now telling you that something might be wrong without a cigarette or that something might be missing from your life. Your brain is like a big and mighty ship, but you’re the captain, and it will follow your navigation orders, but needs time to take the right course. There is also wind that is blowing your ship in different directions, and there is still a force that is pushing the ship towards the old navigation commands. Don’t forget the power that you as a captain posses, you can change the course of your ship in any direction you want.By my experience you’ll need only 3 days to start feeling like a non-smoker.• Another very helpful thing is to try to help some of your friends who are smokers. Try telling them about this techniques and theories and check their opinion. You can make some kind of pact, trying to work together to beat this habit. At the bottom of every post there is a link labeled “Tell a friend!”. Use this link to forward this message and at least remind your friends that they can quit. This can be very stimulating for you and your strength to quit smoking.

Focus the mind to quit smoking
With the with the onset of the Smoking Ban, it is estimated that over 2 million people in England, Wales & Scotland will have tried to quit smoking in the second half of 2007. However, even if all of these people managed to give up and stay off cigarettes, that still leaves an estimated 8 million smokers in Britain today. To give up smoking is one of the most popular New Year’s resolutions, with hundreds of thousands trying to quit each year. But the sad fact is that a significant proportion of these people will lapse before the year is out and return to their smoking habit. There are withdrawal symptoms that will be experienced when trying to give up smoking – many people suffer from mouth ulcers, develop a chesty cough and even suffer from disturbed sleep. However as well as these physical symptoms there are also mental side effects that need to be faced – irritability, restlessness and anxiety and it is perhaps these side effects that contribute more to people succumbing to the craving for nicotine more than the physical withdrawal symptoms. Therefore preparing yourself mentally to quit before you even stub out that last cigarette could be the key to success. Take time to sit down and write a list of all the reasons why you want to quit and then put it somewhere really obvious to refer back to it in a moment of weakness. Decide on a day to quit and make a note – only buy enough cigarettes to last you until that time – “emergency supplies” stashed away will call out to you once you’ve stopped and could be your downfall. Tell your family and friends and ask them to support you, maybe even find yourself a friend who wants to stop as well. The night before you are due to quit, throw away all your smoking “equipment” – ashtrays, lighters, spare cigarettes – they’ve got to go if you are to succeed. However, perhaps most important of all is to accept the fact that it won’t be easy to give up. If you kid yourself that giving up smoking is going to be a walk in the park then you will be unpleasantly surprised throughout the first few days and you may not have the willpower to see it through. But, if you’re feeling really strong you could try some reverse psychology and view the cravings as a good thing – it's a sign that your body is starting to recover.Once you’ve taken the plunge and decided to give up smoking, the key to success is to take small steps. Take each day one at a time and tell yourself you just aren’t smoking for today; it will seem far less daunting than never smoking EVER AGAIN. Nicotine replacement therapy could work if you’ve been a heavy smoker, but if you don’t want to go that route then distract yourself; drinking water flushes out toxins but also gives you something to do with your hands. Alternatively, go and do something else - ring a friend or go for a walk. Finally, sit those cravings out – the average craving only lasts three minutes and then the urge should disappear. Once you’ve got this far, you’re almost there and you just need a few techniques to keep you on the straight and narrow. By spotting your trigger points, you can learn to avoid them; so for example if you always had a cigarette with a glass of wine, have a handful of nuts instead so that you have something else to focus on. If you do have a lapse, keep your resolve – it’s only one and you don’t have to have another. Smoking was a habit, so help to break it by taking up a new habit (but this time, choose a healthy one!) If you think you would benefit from some help as you give up, take advantage of the support that’s out there. There are plenty of support groups for people wishing to give up smoking - both online and offline, and anyone serious about giving up can find details of support groups from their local GP surgery. Additionally, many high street chemists offer help and advice for those wishing to stop smoking. Boots, for example operate their Change One Thing programme, which has an action plan containing advice from experts, to hold your hand every step of the way. Before you know it, you will start to see the positives – your clothes will no longer smell, your skin may have fewer wrinkles, your smile will be brighter once the cigarette stains start to fade and your heart will be much healthily. So, take a deep breath (if you can!) and declare yourself a non-smoker in 2008.

Simple steps to healthy glowing skin this New Year
A healthy complexion can transform your looks and your confidence. A great skincare regime can help but you need to do more to get truly glowing skin; it’s about your lifestyle too, so the New Year can be the perfect time to start. There are some basics which everyone should be doing to give your new regime a great foundation. The condition of your skin reflects your health and lifestyle, so eating and sleeping well is crucial – think of how dull and tired your skin can get if you’ve had a splurge of nights out. One of the most important skincare basics is to eat a well-balanced diet and it’s well known nowadays that six to eight glasses of water a day are needed to help keep skin hydrated. There are six crucial vitamins and food groups for healthy skin – Vitamins A, B, C and E, essential fatty acids and water-rich foods, so introduce a mix of dairy products, green leafy veg such as spinach and broccoli, wholemeal bread, citrus fruits, nuts such as almonds and hazelnuts and apples, cherry, lettuce and celery into your diet to help boost your radiance levels. Supplement this healthy diet with a good night’s sleep of between six and nine hours and you will start to see puffiness and bags disappear before (and from under) your very eyes.Your skin is a very visual indicator of your emotional wellbeing, so there are other lifestyle factors that will affect your skin, most prominently, your stress levels. Take time to relax, have a massage – it’ll vastly improve the condition of your skin as well as making you feel calm and positive. Ditching bad habits can also vastly improve your skin, with smoking and drinking being the most obvious. Alcohol is dehydrating which is bad news for skin and can also cause spider veins, whilst smoking causes harm on a multitude of levels - it damages collagen and elastin, causing sagging skin while also constricting blood vessels and impairing blood flow to the skin. Squinting against the smoke, meanwhile, creates wrinkles. Once you have made these lifestyle changes, it’s time to look at a skincare regime. It may seem obvious but it is vital you know your skin type, so you can adopt the regime that is right for your own particular skin. If you aren’t sure of this then visit a consultant in a beauty store and they should be able to help. Once you know your skin type then adopt the simple 3-step routine of cleansing, toning and moisturising, so that you are nourishing your skin from the outside as well as from the inside. When you are looking for a moisturiser, the ‘scientific’ information can be mind-boggling, but there are some key ingredients to look out for; antioxidants help fight free radicals which can prematurely age skin; Hyaluronic acid attracts moisture and can hold up to one thousand times its weight in water and therefore is great for mature or dry skins. Vitamin A derivatives or retinoids have anti-wrinkle benefits and can also help acne. Peptides initiate collagen repair, helping to plump skin and smooth away fine lines and Glycolic, lactic and salicylic acids stimulate collagen production and help increase cell turnover, making skin look fresher. However, it’s not just your face you need to think about; if you think about your body too then you won’t need a last minute dash when the summer holidays start rolling around. Get rid of dull, surface layer sn by gently exfoliating once or twice a week. Exercise is also a great way to glowing, healthy skin as it draws oxygen and nutrients to skin cells, firming and nourishing the skin. Physical activity also helps organs become more efficient at ridding your body of toxins, as well as reducing stress and helping you get a better night’s sleep - all of which will benefit your skin. Your skin is your body’s largest organ and the one that gains the most exposure to the elements, and therefore, the last step to great skin is ensuring that you protect it properly. Check any moles monthly for change – look out for asymmetry, an irregular border, an uneven colour or a change in size. If you have any concerns, then visit your GP, they would rather a false alarm than leave it until it’s too late. When outside, wear an SPF sun cream every day throughout the spring and summer, even if it doesn’t feel hot; less than one in three people uses adequate sun protection, and 70,000 new cases of skin cancer are diagnosed each year according to the British Skin Foundation. So look for cream with high UVA ratings and a minimum SPF of 15 – if you want a tan you can always cheat with the amount of self-tans on the market these days.Getting great skin should be easy and manageable as long as you take small steps and introduce them into your everyday routine.

Quit Smoking Easily
Quiting smoking is not the easiest thing to do, every one who ever smoked knows that. But, the most important thing is to have a positive attitude about it, and realize that many people have been able to quit before you, so there's no reason why you shouldn't succeed. You just have to find the method that fits you. There are many different ways to stop smoking; hypnosis, gum, band-aids, books on the subject and much, much more. It's important that you do a bit of research on what method might fit you the best. There's plenty of information on all of these methods on the internet. Decide a date, some weeks in advance, when you like to start your stop smoking program. In that way you have some time to get mentally prepared for the task. When the date comes up, see to it that you get rid of all the cigarettes in your house. It's too easy to fail if you have them around. Get rid of everything. Whatever method you choose, you will be helped by using some relaxation or meditation methods a couple of minutes a day. It doesn't have to be anything advanced, a relaxation cd with music on maybe, that you'll listen to every evening. Or some other kind of meditation form. You will have days when it will be very hard for you. And if you fail, remember not to give up. Or if the method you chose is not good enough, don't give up. Pick another way that may suit you better.

How hypnosis can help you stop smoking, lose weight and end panic attacks - Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a peaceful, pleasant state of total relaxation and heightened awareness. It is the process of allowing yourself access to the abilities of the unconscious mind. The unconscious is the most dominant part of your mind. It is nature's complex computer that stores every feeling, event and idea you have ever heard, seen or felt in your entire life. The unconscious acts the way it has been programmed to act, just like a computer does. Unfortunately much of this programming occurred before we were old enough to choose between ideas that were helpful, and those that were not. Hypnosis is the key to the mind. As you enter the hypnotic state your senses become more acute, your concentration becomes more focused on the positive changes that you want, and your unconscious mind becomes more open to suggestions. Hypnotherapy can make positive changes in the physical response and mental and emotional attitude, and change ingrained habits. Hypnotherapy is not dangerous. You yourself naturally engage your unconscious mind every day. Hypnosis does not cause you to lose control; you cannot be made to say or do anything against your will or better judgement. Hypnosis is not an unconscious sleep state. You will be able to speak to answer questions and to recall events that you may have forgotten by your conscious mind. You will remember everything you see or think whilst in Hypnosis Stop SmokingThe question is, “How can hypnosis and hypnotherapy make it easier to stop smoking?”To understand how hypnotherapy can really help you to stop smoking, you need to realise that to give up something that means a lot to you, you need to get something in return, otherwise your mind will identify it as a bad deal, and your brain doesn't like that. So, if you try to stop smoking by willpower alone, you will more than likely begin smoking again. Using hypnotherapy, we redress the balance... giving you something tangible in exchange, in order to make it worthwhile for you to stop smoking. Giving you something that makes sense and makes it a good deal to stop smoking means it will be far easier to quit. Using hypnosis, we gently and effectively give your subconscious lots of good, tangible reasons to quit smoking: As a non-smoker you will feel, not only a benefit to your health and your pocket, but also: -A huge sense of achievement The satisfaction of attaining your goal An increase in your levels of willpower More confidence in yourself You will be happy to be a non-smoker The list could go on, and on, and the more positive, tangible reasons you have for becoming a non-smoker, the easier it becomes to give up smoking permanently. Panic attacksHypnotherapy for anxiety and Panic Attacks When anxiety or panic attacks strike, they can have a huge effect on a person’s life. If you find that you suffer from these anxiety attacks or panic attacks, or general feelings of anxiety (general anxiety disorder), maybe even for no obvious reason, then hypnoanalysis could be the help you need to free you from this problem. The anxiety can manifest itself as a simple, but unexplainable feeling of nervousness, through to a full-blown anxiety or panic attack. The symptoms of a panic or anxiety attack are wide ranging, and can include palpitations, tingling in the extremities, shortness of breath, sweating, a feeling of light-headedness, feeling hot or cold, feeling sick, fear of losing control, fainting, or feelings of unexplained but impending doom. Anxiety is part of everyday life... under the right circumstances it is perfectly normal. However, when anxiety attacks are unexplained or frequent, then it's time to get the help that can put you back on track. Can hypnotherapy help with panic attacks and general anxiety disorder? General anxiety and panic attacks are caused when a present situation causes 'old' emotions and feelings to come to the surface. Often, the person suffering the attack doesn't have any conscious knowledge of what these 'old' memories were... Hypnoanalysis seeks to uncover these 'old' memories and remove their effect.Weight LossThere is a reason hypnosis is such a powerful way to target weight loss as again it gives you the chance to think positivley about food and create new habits. This is ideal for cheaper, natural weight loss.Dieting causes people to adopt two very strong beliefs. They firstly give you the impression your going to do something which you don’t really want to do. Secondly, that its going to be difficult for you. The modern approches to change, including hypnotherapy create a difficult challenge ahead to both of these beliefs. We hypnotherapists believe that we can make a choice with healthy weight management and start it as easy as many other habits.Hypnosis and hypnotherapy works on a subconscious level helping you to a state of mind where you can actually lose weight willingly. It actually seems very difficult to make these changes goals when your generally willing to do so. One solution, therefore, is to hire the services of a trained and experienced hypnotherapist.

How About some Quit Smoking Help?
Smoking is one of the more destructive habits we can introduce in our lives and quit smoking help is very important to consider. The medical consequences become more and more alarming as knowledge deepens. Why do we start and why do then we continue to smoke. What make us stuck with the dumb habit? There are obvious connections between some situations in your professional as well as private life that for ever is related to the manipulation of a cigarette as a relaxing way out. I'm of course talking about the so called stress-factor.The cigarette is not only used to relax you after a tense situation but also during. I'm referring to for example a stressful conversation over the phone. We are all different as persons but for many of us the phone itself is regarded as pure stress. One very important problem about every form of abuse is if teenagers are involved. All forms of misuse are bad or harmful to the body and when the body isn't fully developed but in a growing stadium the harm is of course worsened. The younger the person the more sensitive the tissues and systems are for disturbances. Its easy to understand that the consequences of introduction to harmful influences are somewhat less if you begins at sixty-five than to start at the age at thirteen! One extreme form of early start is exposure from second hand smoking particularly when small children are involved! The growing body is very much sensible for toxic influence from aggressive and harmful substances. There are many reasons for that and one very important is that not every system is fully developed. This aspect is just the biological hazards and as such a reason enough not to expose the child for this environmental stress. There is an obvious possibility that such exposure in the long run will result in an early start of a personal abuse! The well known fact about all forms of abuse is that if or when you are struggling to stop the personal determination and stamina is very, not to say extremely important. The process is at least when the abuse is smoking ordinary tobacco more of a psychological process than a pure physical one. That's because the withdrawal or physical abstinence period are very short in comparison with every other drug out there. So the problem is to really get over the misuse more as a kind of bad habit like nail biting than to break a use of more potent drug. I know that many smokers wouldn't like that comparison but the fact is that nicotine as a stimulant gives a very short-lived effect. The longer and more intense the desired effect produced the greater the problem to break the abuse! Well let this be as it is - the fact is still that some help might be very vital in the actual situation. There is in such cases high demands for some form of quit smoking help. It could either be in form of personal assistance or by an effective personal program.Let nothing get in your way if and when you have made up your mind. Go for it - the longer you postpone the action the worse it will be. Another thing that you should consider is that your body never will be as young as it is today! The younger your body is to use as a platform for recovery the better obviously! And one thing to remember - there is no real possibility for a replay in life!Do you go all in? I certainly hope so!
